Established in 1994, TEAM is an innovative program enabling about one-fourth of Paly's freshmen to combine academic success with community-building through a unique interdisciplinary curriculum. TEAM students take their core classes (English, Math, World History and Biology) together and with the same teachers. In these classes, students take the same tests and are held to the same standards as Paly's non-TEAM freshmen - there is no loss of subject material or academic rigor, when compared to the rest of the school. The TEAM program simply provides a creative, interactive approach to learning these subjects, with an emphasis on activity-based education.
